Strawberry Basket

This reminds me of a Nantucket basket with the double handles.
We made this cute little basket in Stampin' Club.

6 x 6 square Crumb Cake cardstock scored at 2 and 4 inches.
Make 2 cuts on the top and bottom sections as shown here.
Make a triangle cut in the middle section.
The 1st and 3rd sections: cut in thirds.

Trim 1/4 inch off the 2 strips closest to the middle triangle on each side.
2 strips closest to the triangle.
Sponge Soft Suede ink on all edges.
Fold all score lines.
Assemble:
Glue outside long strips together to make the basket shape.
Glue remaining 2 strips.
Glue the triangle in place and trim, if needed.
Punch two 1-inch Crumb Cake cardstock circles;
Sponge edges and fold in half.
Glue circles over tip of triangle.
Cut two 1/2 x 6-inch Crumb Cake strips.
Finish the edges with a corner rounder.
Sponge with Soft Suede ink.
Punch both ends of the handles and both sides of the basket, as shown.
Attach with gold brads.
This adorable basket was filled with Brach's strawberry candies...
The perfect springtime gift!

Sale-a-Bration Hostess Tote

Girls love purses and I'm a girlie-girl. I finally got my hands on this FREE Hostess tote available to all my hostesses only during Sale-a-Bration! It's SO pretty. The pattern you see comes from our Sale-a-Bration Designer Series paper, Everyday Enchantment.

The colors are Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Peach Parfait and Lucky Limeade.
See the Adorning Accents trim? It matches our new Edgelit dies!

You'll have your very own Everyday Enchantment Tote, too, when you call me to schedule a workshop for February or March! Or you can place an order of $150 or more (with me, not online) and get this pretty tote as well as FREE Sale-a-Bration products and hostess benefits! Oh my! You'll need the tote just to carry it all!

Vintage 1960's Valentines

While cleaning and organizing some storage boxes, I found some childhood Valentines my mother had saved for me. I read the old signatures and remember those who are no longer with us. How precious to have these still.

The images are simple and child-like.
In several of the cards, the little dog or cat is usually doing something entertaining or mischievous. And how practical is a cookie cutter for a Valentine!

A special card from cousins Gail, Brenda and Joan.
A cherished child's signature... I'm thankful to have it.

San Antonio Regional Training and Leadership Conference last month was everything I had hoped and more. Shelli, our Stampin' Up! co-founder, shared with us a Valentine treat topper project.
