This reminds me of a Nantucket basket with the double handles.
We made this cute little basket in Stampin' Club.
6 x 6 square Crumb Cake cardstock scored at 2 and 4 inches. |
Make 2 cuts on the top and bottom sections as shown here. |
Make a triangle cut in the middle section.
The 1st and 3rd sections: cut in thirds. |
Trim 1/4 inch off the 2 strips closest to the middle triangle on each side. |
2 strips closest to the triangle. |
Sponge Soft Suede ink on all edges.
Fold all score lines. |
Assemble:
Glue outside long strips together to make the basket shape. |
Glue remaining 2 strips. |
Glue the triangle in place and trim, if needed. |
Punch two 1-inch Crumb Cake cardstock circles;
Sponge edges and fold in half. |
Glue circles over tip of triangle. |
Cut two 1/2 x 6-inch Crumb Cake strips.
Finish the edges with a corner rounder.
Sponge with Soft Suede ink.
Punch both ends of the handles and both sides of the basket, as shown.
Attach with gold brads. |
This adorable basket was filled with Brach's strawberry candies...
The perfect springtime gift! |
